How to Add BROADCOM wireless drivers on Red Hat/Fedora/CentOS

For Red Hat Enterprise Linux users, there seems to be some issues with Wi Fi setup as Broadcom Wi Fi drivers are not installed by default and this affects a lot of dell users.

Not to worry, Red Hat developers did a good job in building the driver from scratch to patch things up.

For Red Hat/CentOS users:

sudo subscription-manager repos --enable rhel-7-server-extras-rpms
sudo subscription-manager repos --enable rhel-7-server-optional-rpms

sudo rpm -Uvh https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm

sudo rpm -Uvh https://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el/rpmfusion-free-release-7.noarch.rpm

sudo rpm -Uvh https://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/el/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-7.noarch.rpm

sudo yum update

sudo yum install akmod-wl

For Fedora Linux users

sudo rpm -Uvh https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm
